Sutradara film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Destin Daniel Cretton bekerja sama dengan Sean Miyashiro dari label rekaman 88rising membuat album tersebut.
Lagu dalam Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Album dinyanyikan oleh berbagai musisi Asia mulai dari Indonesia, Jepang dan Korea Selatan.
