Jurnal Makassar – Kim Sun Ah adalah aktor asal Korea Selatan yang lahir di Daegu, Korea Selatan, 1 Oktober 1973.
Ia merupakan lulusan dari Universitas Kyung Hee University Jurusan Teater dan Film; Universitas Negeri Ball Jurusan Piano.
Ia pertama kali debut sebagai model di tahun 90-an. Fans menjulukinya ratu romcom karena karya masa lalunya yang hampir selalu melibatkan rom-com.

Meski tidak memiliki pengalaman kerja, ia putus kuliah dan memulai karirnya dengan tampil untuk Hanbul Cosmetics, yang melejitkan karirnya.
Kemudian ia muncul di beberapa video musik. Setelahnya, ia muncul sebagai peran kecil dalam drama Bang-Ul-I pada tahun 1997.
Perannya yang sedikit lebih besar muncul melalui film berjudul Yesterday (2002) dan diikuti oleh film Wet Dreams (2005).

Pada awal 2005, ia membintangi serial drama hit My Lovely Sam Soon, yang ternyata menjadi terobosan besarnya. Ia berhasil mengantongi banyak penghargaan karena itu.
Posisinya semakin dianggap melalui peran dalam drama Children of Nobody (2018) dan Secret Boutique (2019).
Pada tahun 2022, ia didapuk menjadi pemeran utama dalam drama yang berjudul The Empire of Law.
